WW2 German Heer, Unteroffizier, Panzergrenadier 1944

This figure is based on an illustration by Malcolm Mcgregor from the book : The Armed Forces of World War II – figure number 295. His artwork has always been inspirational for me.

For my panzergrenadier, I opted for the splinter pattern smock and used camouflage netting instead of wiring for the helmet. Some of these interesting features are :-

  • Heeres-Splittermuster Tarnhemd (Splinter Camouflage Smock)
  • Helmet with camouflage netting
  • Tunic with the Merit Award Ribbon showing
  • Gewehr 43
  • Hafthohlladung HHL3 - Magnetic hollow charge
  • Modified/shrunken jack boots
  • Painted Headsculpt and modified body

The details on my improvements are :-
